Surf
Lessons.
One-on-one or semi-private coaching on Nahant's forgiving beginner beach, led by ISA certified instructors who adapt to every level - from first-timers catching their first wave to advanced surfers sharpening technique.
Two ways to learn.
Both options include a full hour of water time, all gear, and an ISA certified instructor. The difference is the ratio and the price.

Private
- 60 minutes of dedicated 1:1 time
- Surfboard and wetsuit included

How a lesson actually goes.
Every lesson follows the same four-part structure - land, water, feedback, next steps. You walk away knowing what to work on.
Meet on the beach
Your instructor meets you at Nahant Long Beach with your board and wetsuit ready. Quick intro, safety rundown, and a read of the conditions.
Land drills
Popup mechanics, paddle form, and wave reading - drilled on the sand first so the water time is all about execution, not explanation.
In the water
60 minutes of coached surfing. Your instructor picks your waves, gives real-time feedback, and adapts the session to what you need most.
Debrief
A quick post-session walkthrough of what clicked and what to work on next. You'll leave with a clear goal, not just a memory.
Wherever you are on the ladder.
Lessons are designed around BSA's ten-level progression system. Whether you've never touched a surfboard or you're working on linking turns, your instructor builds the session around exactly where you are.
Tell us your level when you book and we'll match you with the right instructor and the right session plan.
